Elite’s 2014 Summer Camp – “Intermediate Dance Intensive”
Intermediate level dance camp for ages 9 and up. Dancers must be at a high skill level with at least 3+ years of training to register. Depending on registration, dancers may be split up by ages/level.
Are you serious about dance If so, this 2 day Dance Intensive is for you! During the two days you will explore many different disciplines of dance. Dancers will learn routines in Jazz, Contemporary/Modern, Hip Hop and Lyrical/Ballet. You will be lead through an extensive warm up with emphasis on gaining flexibility and strengthening core muscles. You will challenge yourself with across the floor and center floor technique, and you will feel the burn during the conditioning session.
Camp dates are July 29th and July 30th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This camp is only $135.00 and it’s filling up fast!
Our dance studio is located in a safe, neighborhood setting with ample parking plus a convenient drop off / pick up area. We’re on the corner of NW Saltzman Rd and NW Thompson Rd, across the street from Findley elementary school.
CAMP NOTES: Dancer’s need to bring a healthy sack lunch and drink each day of camp. Every dancer will receive an Elite Dance Studio Summer T-shirt. Camp tuition and registration form must be received by the first day of camp. Normal studio dress code and studio rules apply.

I know all our dancers are so excited to return to classes after Spring Break. Some of our Competitive Company Dancers spent the week in New York City and they had a blast attending classes and Broadway shows.
Our annual tradition of “COSTUME WEEK” is here! The energy and excitement at the studio is always at an all time high during this time! Teachers will take a few minutes during each class to have their dancers try on their costumes. Recital is just a few months away.
2014 SUMMER DANCE CLASSES AND SUMMER DANCE CAMPS
Elite’s summer session will run from July 7th through August 15th. Our summer schedule will include day camps as well as afternoon and evening classes. Summer registration will begin in late April. If you are not a current dancer at Elite, please scroll to the bottom of the page and fill in your name and email address and we will be happy to send you a newsletter when our online registration is open.

Recital Costumes
I know it seems like classes have just begun, but a lot of planning goes into our spring recital and it starts with carefully selecting recital costumes for each class.
This year our dance recital theme is “Dancing through the Decades”!
In order to get everything ordered and delivered on time, costume fees are due by November 22nd.Your costume fee includes shipping and accessories and since you are purchasing the recital costume it is yours to keep after the recital! The only additional cost is tights. Specifics on tights will be given out in the spring after costumes have been handed out.
After Thanksgiving Break, dancers will be measured during class time for their recital costumes. Recital costumes are ordered in December and shipped to us by April. Once they arrive, they will be handed out in class and dancers will be able to take them home along with instructions on fitting, alterations and accessories.

All dancers participating in the spring recital MUST purchase the class costume.

Once recital costumes are ordered there will be no refunds. Sorry, no exceptions.

Recital costume fees not received by November 22nd will be charged a $20.00 late fee.

If you are not planning to participate in the spring recital, please email us at
info@elitedancestudio.org. We need to inform your teachers and take the costume fee off your account.

Costume fees must be paid on a separate check from monthly tuition. (Costume fees cannot be deducted thru Elite’s Auto Pay Service.)
